The Lincolnview Lancers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 62-32 loss at the hands of Antwerp. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lincolnview has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Antwerp to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Brewer, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Lichty, who scored 14 points.
Lincolnview bumped their record down to 4-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Antwerp, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Lincolnview will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bluffton at 7:00 p.m. Bluffton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincolnview in Ohio (Bluffton is ranked 103rd, while Lincolnview is ranked 589th). As for Antwerp, Antwerp and Wayne Trace will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
