Omaha North's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ayanna Hill, who scored 12 points. Akazja Foster was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Inia Jones was a one-man wrecking crew for Omaha Central as she scored 28 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilliana Petersen, who scored 9 points.
Omaha North's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Omaha Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Omaha North will head out on the road to face off against Gretna East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Omaha Central is on the road again on Monday and play against Westview at 5:15 p.m. on December 4th.
