 In other batting news, Wolfe County let  Kenzie Miller and  Riley Bush loose on the outfield. Miller  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances, while  Bush  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.  Raygen Holbrook was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Wolfe County's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Owsley County, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wolfe County will  take on Johnson Central at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Owsley County, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Williamsburg at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Owsley County is facing Williamsburg at the right time seeing as Williamsburg is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
