It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Shorecrest Prep ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Bell Creek Academy Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 last Tuesday.

Shorecrest Prep's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Christopher Booth, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Shorecrest Prep's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3. As for Bell Creek Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season.

Shorecrest Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Sports Leadership & Management at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shorecrest Prep is facing Sports Leadership & Management at the right time seeing as Sports Leadership & Management is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bell Creek Academy, they will head out on the road to take on IMG Academy White at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games IMG Academy White has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
