Basketball Recap: Universal Learning Academy Comes Up Short

Universal Learning Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a blow against the Advanced Tech Academy Lakers, falling 41-14. While losing is never fun, Universal Learning Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 747th, while Advanced Tech Academy is ranked 224th).

Universal Learning Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Advanced Tech Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Universal Learning Academy will challenge Michigan Math & Science at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Michigan Math & Science will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Universal Learning Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Advanced Tech Academy, they will take on Center Line Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
