Arapahoe took down Red Cloud 66-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Caden Weverka threw for 101 yards and ran for 64 yards in the win.

Trevor Van Pelt was the best running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 140 yards as Southwest bested Red Cloud. Teammate Brenton Ellis added to the ground attack by rushing for 57 yards.
Chris Simmons put up the best numbers through the air as Alma lost to Franklin. He finished with 10 completions for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns. Simmons' favorite target this week was Brady Stuhmer, who caught 3 passes for 43 yards.
Nate Bartling made the biggest impact on defense this week as Elm Creek topped Maxwell. The 6-foot-2 freshman.
Van Pelt provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Roughriders lost to Sutherland.
Hilker was the best wideout in the league this week as Dustin Sealey's team defeated Jason Heldt's team. Hilker racked up 2 receptions for 55 yards. Brennan Koller helped Arapahoe's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 46 yards.
The Warriors' Weverka and Koller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading D1 District 9 (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Weverka has thrown for 265 yards this season, while Koller has 6 catches for 126 yards. Overton's Hayden Cahoy leads the league in rushing yards with 472.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Overton takes on second place Elm Creek.
Van Pelt broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 55-yard run against the Sailors.
