Pompano Beach lost to Monarch on the road by a decisive 59-43 margin on Thursday. Pompano Beach has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Monarch got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nikyle Campbell out in front who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kensey Bewley , who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Pompano Beach's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Monarch, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Pompano Beach won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Taravella at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Taravella is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Monarch, they will head out on the road to face off against South Plantation at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully South Plantation focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
