Pine Tree and Kimball squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pine Tree had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Kimball Knights, falling 87-27. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Kimball's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaylon Dean-Vines led the charge by going 10-for-14 en route to 24 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Dean-Vines' big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Gray, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 18 points along with five boards and four steals.

Pine Tree's loss dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Kimball, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-5.

Pine Tree does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimball, they have already played their next match, a 68-35 victory against Carter on the 28th.
