After a string of four wins, the Jesuit Blue Jays's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Archbishop Rummel by a score of 41-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jesuit has scored all season.
Archbishop Rummel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tj Duhe, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Jamard Jones was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Jesuit's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-6. As for Archbishop Rummel, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 20-14.
Jesuit will take on the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Curtis Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Blue Jays are ranked 16th). As for Archbishop Rummel, they will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
