Seth Sandlin of Stigler ran for the longest rushing play in 3A District 8 this season against Hartshorne last week. Sandlin scampered for 70 yards on the play and finished with 187 on the day as his team topped the Miners.
Heavener was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in the league. The Wolves defeated Gore 13-7 earlier in the week.
