Garden Grove managed to slip by Segerstrom the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Argonauts came up short against the Jaguars on Wednesday, falling 12-4. The Argonauts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Garden Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeh Sosa, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Kennedy got the win against Ocean View on Friday by a conclusive 14-4. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Irish in their matchups with the Seahawks: they've now won four in a row.

Garden Grove's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's matchup. The Argonauts have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Kennedy, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Garden Grove continue to outrun the ball?
Garden Grove suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to Kennedy in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Argonauts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
