Riverside have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Weston-McEwen at 7:00 PM. Riverside come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-44, which was the final score in Riverside's tilt against Heppner last Friday. Riverside were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-36.
Meanwhile, Weston-McEwen have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Stanfield with a 34-28 win.
Weston-McEwen's victory lifted them to 1-3 while Riverside's defeat dropped them down to 0-5. We'll see if Weston-McEwen's success rolls on or if Riverside are able to steal their positive momentum.
