Volleyball Recap: Field Wins Going Away Against Waterloo

The Field Falcons made easy work of the Waterloo Vikings on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Field won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25, 25-21.

Field can attribute much of their success to Carly Eldreth, who had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Eldreth has posted over her last six matches.

Field's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Waterloo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Field didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Streetsboro on the 7th. As for Waterloo, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against McKinley on the 7th.
