Webster has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Webster scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Ipswich 51-27. That 51-27 margin sets a new team best for Webster this season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tiospa Zina, who are still winless after their fifth match. They fell to St. Francis Indian 44-40. Tiospa Zina has not had much luck with St. Francis Indian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
The losing side was boosted by Kami Crawford, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Those eight rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Maya Deutsch, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Even though they lost, Tiospa Zina were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The win got Webster back to even at 2-2. As for Tiospa Zina, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Webster strolled past Tiospa Zina when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 50-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Webster since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
