The Borah Lions lost against the Timberline Wolves back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Borah took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Timberline. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Borah has scored all season.
Leading Timberline to victory were Jackson Kelly and Jacob Heyne. Kelly scored 11 points, while Heyne scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Heyne. Alex Ko was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Borah's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-4. As for Timberline, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Borah will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Capital at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Capital knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully Borah likes a good challenge. As for Timberline, they will play host again and welcome Eagle, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on December 21st.
