After a string of five wins, the Taconic Thunder's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pittsfield. The contest was a 27-27 toss-up at halftime, but Taconic couldn't quite close it out.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pittsfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Pat Brennan, who scored 16 points. Da'Sean Brown was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Taconic's defeat ended a 20-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3. As for Pittsfield, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taconic will take on Monument Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monument Mountain is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road. As for Pittsfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Agawam at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
