Booker T. Washington and the Comets are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers will head out on the road to square off against the Granby Comets at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses for Booker T. Washington and eight for the Comets.
Booker T. Washington played against the Pilots and lost via forfeit.
On Saturday, Granby came up short against the Dolphins and fell 48-38.
Booker T. Washington's loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.4 points per game. As for Granby, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Booker T. Washington ended up a good deal behind the Comets in their previous matchup back in January, losing 56-42. Can Booker T. Washington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
