The third road  game was the charm for Juab, as they earned their first road win of the season. They put the hurt on the Emery Spartans with a sharp  10-1 win on Tuesday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  victory Juab has managed all season.
  Connor Cowan and  Kanyon Matinson made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Cowan   struck out nine batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile,  Matinson   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). At bat,  Cowan  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Matinson  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Austin Park, who  went 4-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bryce Bowles, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 On Emery's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Wade Stilson, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 The  win  got Juab back to even at 3-3. As for Emery, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
 Juab will challenge Wasatch at 8:30  a.m.  on Friday. Juab is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game this season. As for Emery, they will head out on the road to  face off against  South Sevier at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
