 Holy Cross found their leader in sophomore  Rocky Orozco, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, and also threw for 172 yards and three  TDs on only eight passes.  Taylor Flores was another key player, rushing for 181 yards.
Central Catholic now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Holy Cross, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Central Catholic will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Savio at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 26th. This will  be the Buttons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Holy Cross, they have already played their next match,  a  38-16  victory against Weimar on the 19th.
