Football Recap: Master's Academy Comes Up Short

Master's Academy suffered their biggest defeat since August 30, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the Seffner Christian Crusaders 43-0.

Master's Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Josh Namvar, David Ott, and Jamison Blunt picked up one apiece.

Seffner Christian found their leader in sophomore Jonathan Williams, who rushed for 61 yards and one score. Trey Duque made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Master's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Seffner Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Master's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 27-20 defeat against Cocoa Beach on the 29th. As for Seffner Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-3 victory against Indian Rocks Christian on the 29th.
