The matchup between the Bluffton Pirates and the Riverdale Falcons  on Saturday hardly resembled the  25-21 effort from their previous meeting. Bluffton fell  57-50 to Riverdale. That's two games in a row now that Bluffton has lost by exactly seven  points.
 Despite the loss, Bluffton still got an impressive performance from   Ayla Grandey, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  rebounds. Grandey is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was  Blair Utendorf, who  scored eight points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 Bluffton has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Riverdale, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-9.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluffton will  take on Spencerville at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Riverdale, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Elmwood at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
