Basketball Recap: Many Farms Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Many Farms entered their tilt with Camp Verde on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Camp Verde Cowboys by a score of 40-31. The Lobos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

Camp Verde's loss came despite strong showings from Jazmin Torres and Lydia Bleak. Torres almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds, while Bleak posted four points. Torres continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Many Farms' win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Camp Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Many Farms and Red Mesa will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Camp Verde, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 37-31 victory against Kingman on the 12th.
