Forsyth Home Educators has gone a perfect 4-0 against Millennium recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hawks will host the Lions at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Forsyth Home Educators has three straight wins, Millennium has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Forsyth Home Educators' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on South Wake with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Hawks have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Nolan Holley and Parker Broadus made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Holley pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Broadus didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. At bat, Holley scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Broadus scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
In other pitching news, Skyler Faircloth looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Matthew Lane, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Eli Hayes was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Forsyth Home Educators hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Wake struck out 12 times.
Meanwhile, Millennium fell victim to Leadership Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 16-0 to the Falcons.
Forsyth Home Educators' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Millennium, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Millennium's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Forsyth Home Educators has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. It's a different story for Millennium, though, as they've only averaged .122. Will they be able to contain Forsyth Home Educators' hitters?
Forsyth Home Educators took their win against Millennium when the teams last played back in May of 2021 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
