That result was just more of the same for these two, as NorthPoint Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played last Monday.
Among those leading the charge was Talan Pollack, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 20 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lawson Skinner, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack J., who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that J. scored 15 or more points. Edward G. was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
NorthPoint Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for St. Anne Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
NorthPoint Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Walnut Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Anne Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jackson Day at 6:30 p.m.
