Hutto got a great performance from Jackson Reed as he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, Reed posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Michael Elquist was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Eierdam, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Hutto's victory bumped their record up to 9-18. As for Vista Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
