The C. Milton Wright Mustangs came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 63-38 margin over Patterson Mill. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-17.
Dylan Sander was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 19 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayne Woodland, who scored 19 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
C. Milton Wright's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Patterson Mill, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2.
C. Milton Wright's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cougars at 6:45 p.m. on February 1st. Fallston is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Patterson Mill, they will take on the Warriors at TBD on Friday. Havre de Grace has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 291 points over their last four contests.
