The Glendale Cardinals won the last time they faced the Metro Tech Knights, and things went their way on Friday too. Glendale blew past Metro Tech 74-36 on the road.
Metro Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ace Zambrano, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Zambrano is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. Oswaldo Lopez Vargas was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
Glendale's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Metro Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendale will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Metro Tech, they will square off against Kellis at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
