Despite the loss, Antonito still got an impressive performance from Destanaya Quintana, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Quintana is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Centennial found their leader in underclassman Reina Aguilera, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 21 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Aguilera has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jazmin Salcido, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Antonito's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.1 points per game. As for Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 1-8.
Antonito won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Moffat at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Moffat is ranked 314th, while Antonito is ranked 324th).
