The Putnam Valley Tigers are taking a road trip to  square off against the Greeley Quakers  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Putnam Valley focused on turnovers this week  as team gave up four on Saturday.
 Putnam Valley can't be to happy about their upcoming road  contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home. They were just a  hair shy of victory  and fell  22-21 to Byram Hills.
 Despite the  defeat, Putnam Valley got top-tier performance from   Andre Tarrant, who rushed for 136 yards while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  total yards.
 Meanwhile, Greeley gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Port Chester 34-7 at home. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Quakers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
