She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  RBI.
 Ramirez wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Dezaray Banda, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3. Banda also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.
Rivera has  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season. The  win (which was Porter's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
 Coming up, Rivera will challenge Donna North at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Rivera is facing Donna North at the right time seeing as Donna North is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Porter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pace  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Porter's pitching crew has only allowed one  run per game  this season, so Pace's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
