The Idea Timberwolves will be home for the holidays to greet the Parkside Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Idea and 16 for Parkside dating back to last season.
Last Monday, Idea faced KIPP College Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Idea took a 37-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of KIPP College Prep. Idea has struggled against KIPP College Prep recently, as their contest on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Parkside had to suffer through a rough 62-24 loss at the hands of Washington Leadership Academy.
Idea's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Parkside, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Idea against Parkside in their previous meeting two weeks ago as the squad secured a 57-16 victory. Does Idea have another victory up their sleeve, or will Parkside turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
