Glenpool has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Harrah Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Glenpool strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. 72 seems to be a good number for Glenpool as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Aaliyah Shawnee, who scored 30 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Glenpool's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yaya Gibson, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Harrah didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Cougars on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win. The win was just what Harrah needed coming off of a 61-38 defeat in their prior matchup.
Harrah's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brenna Catrambone led the charge by scoring 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Allison Price, who scored 13 points.
Glenpool is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Harrah, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
