The Front Range Christian Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Simla Cubs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Front Range Christian faced Byers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Front Range Christian was beaten by Byers 54-0. It was the first time this season that Front Range Christian let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Simla put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past St. Mary's 48-0 on the road. Fans of Simla have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Simla's success was spearheaded by the efforts of TJ Eurich, who gained 107 total yards and four touchdowns, and Caston Cox, who threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Another reason for the win was Simla's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Treven Kocerha and his two sacks.
Front Range Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Simla, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0.
