The Greenville Hornets lost against the North Side Gators back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Greenville fell 45-38 to North Side. Greenville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Greenville still got an impressive performance from Franklin Bennett, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Gymanuel Wells was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for North Side, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville will take on Clarksdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Clarksdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday. As for North Side, they will head out on the road to face off against Edwards at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
