Monroeville extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Addison Homan. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Clyde Fliers on Tuesday for which the team can thank Homan, who had 42 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

Monroeville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 28-26, 28-26.

Clyde's loss came despite strong showings from Brynlee Mussell and Brooklyn Hemminger. Mussell had eight digs and two aces, while Hemminger had 12 kills, ten digs, and two aces.

Monroeville's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Clyde, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Monroeville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against South Central on the 4th. As for Clyde, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Norwalk on the 4th.
