The Sheridan Rams lost against the Lincoln Lancers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Sheridan suffered a rough 44-18 defeat at the hands of Lincoln. Sheridan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lincoln's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amina Abdikadir, who scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Abdikadir has scored at least 25% of Lincoln's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hawa Gueye, who scored 11 points.
Sheridan now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lincoln, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Sheridan will head out on the road to face off against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rocky Mountain Prep SMART comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Lincoln, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Kennedy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
