North Penn and Pennridge are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The North Penn Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Pennridge Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Penn is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
North Penn posted their biggest victory yet this season on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 68-25 victory over Harry S. Truman.
Meanwhile, Pennridge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 58-37 walloping at the hands of Neshaminy. While losing is never fun, Pennridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while Neshaminy is ranked 243rd).
North Penn's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Pennridge, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
North Penn was able to grind out a solid win over Pennridge when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 65-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Penn since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
