Springfield Southeast's loss came despite strong showings from Marisa Gant and Navehua Collier. Gant scored 22 points, while Collier scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The matchup was Gant's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'maria Rollen, who scored 5 points.
Springfield Southeast has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
