Wilson hasn't had much luck against Darlington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Wednesday, Wilson got the win against Marlboro County by a conclusive 14-4.

The team relied heavily on Sakura Jordan, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Martina Taylor was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wilson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Darlington waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly ten runs.
Malaya Holt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Holt was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
In other batting news, Zaria Mack and Emily Johnson did most of the damage at the plate: Mack went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double, while Johnson went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Carly Gainey, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Wilson has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.5 hits per game. However, it's not like Darlington struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wilson suffered a grim 15-5 defeat to Darlington when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
