Soccer Recap: Universal Academy Starts off Right with Win over Cristo Rey Tampa

Universal Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cristo Rey Tampa Panthers as they made off with a 6-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Universal Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.

They hit Cristo Rey Tampa with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ayaan Bhuiyan (2), Abdalrahman Hassan (2), Mohammed Bouslimi, and Zafar Indawala.

Cristo Rey Tampa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Universal Academy and Cristo Rey Tampa will both be playing Winthrop College Prep Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Falcons will host the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
