East Hall is 0-3 against Madison County since November of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The East Hall Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Madison County Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. East Hall is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, East Hall was beaten by North Oconee 70-15. While losing is never fun, East Hall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 395th, while North Oconee is ranked 38th).
Although East Hall took the loss, they still got scores from Lukas Pruitt and Caden Daniels.
Meanwhile, Madison County can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Walnut Grove on the road to the tune of 56-14. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Madison County had established a 21 point advantage.
North Oconee's win bumped their season record to 9-0 while East Hall's loss dropped theirs to 2-7.
East Hall took a serious blow against Madison County when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 42-7. Can East Hall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
