Jude Hernandez Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Calallen's Jude Hernandez, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hernandez rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 32 receiving yards.
Tuloso-Midway's probably not too fond of Hernandez given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Hernandez saw the Warriors & Cherokees), he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

A Season-Best Performance from Rene Rivera Jr Leads Zapata over Hidalgo
Rene Rivera Jr produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Zapata to the win on Friday. Rivera Jr wasn't messing around, making eight total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging three interceptions. The contest was his fourth straight with eight or more total tackles.
Zapata's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Rivera Jr and Zapata will venture away from home to face off against Calallen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Robert Gallegos Has Career-Day on Friday
Hidalgo came up short on Friday despite Robert Gallegos delivering his best game to date. Gallegos rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Hidalgo's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Gallegos and Hidalgo will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Calallen at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Calallen Gets a Boost from Dennis in 35-14 Win
Sebastian Dennis put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 77 yards and a touchdown on perfect 5-for-5 passing.
On the year, Dennis has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 71.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 28.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 65 rushing yards.

Ricardo Rodr?guez Makes It Three for Calallen
Another Calallen player making an appearance on this list is Ricardo Rodr?guez. He rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 56 yards.
This season, Rodr?guez has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 93 rushing yards per game.
