The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Gators came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Knights are ranked 290th).
Calvary Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Hosten, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 boards.
