Braden River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcus Schade led the charge by scoring 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Jacobi Murray, who scored 20 points along with 4 steals.
Braden River's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Braden River will challenge IMG Academy Black at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast, they will head out on the road to face off against Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cardinal Mooney will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
