The Glenrock Herders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They managed a 55-50 victory over Moorcroft. The win was some much needed relief for Glenrock as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Moorcroft's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elise Kuhbacher, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Kaeley Hutchison was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Glenrock's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Moorcroft, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
Glenrock will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Moorcroft, they will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
