Sheridan Hills Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sheridan Hills Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Analiese Toro, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Spee, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Don Soffer Aventura's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Liana Kozko led the charge by scoring 12 points. The match was Kozko's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniella Brown, who scored eight points.
Sheridan Hills Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Don Soffer Aventura, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
