Frankton has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Mississinewa Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Frankton struggled with offensive rebounds on Tuesday (Wabash had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Frankton fell 55-42 to Wabash.
Despite the defeat, Frankton had strong showings from Brady Carmack, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Nate Moore, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Austin Nunley, who scored five points along with two steals.
Frankton struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mississinewa's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 55-36 bruising from Delta. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mississinewa in their matchups with Delta: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the defeat, Mississinewa got a solid performance out of Kobe Johnson, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Frankton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Mississinewa, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
Frankton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mississinewa in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 49-43 victory.
