It was a good run, but the Jackson Jaguars unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 64-56 to North Paulding. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Jackson still got an impressive performance from Taliah Cornish, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Kennedie Cooper, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-1. As for North Paulding, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Jackson is on the road again on December 28th and play against Shiloh at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. Shiloh will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Jackson is ranked 16th). As for North Paulding, they will head out on the road to face off against Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Brunswick focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
