Football Recap: Dalton Has No Trouble Against Rittman

Dalton won the last time they faced Rittman and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 27-7 margin over the Indians. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Indians are ranked 456th).

The win made it two in a row for Dalton and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.5 points over those games. As for Rittman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dalton will challenge rival Norwayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rittman is set to take on their familiar foe Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Indians 13.1, the Smithies 13.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
