Harlan County lost to Greeneville 45-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Fred Massey ran for 88 yards in the loss.
Perry County Central led 5A District 8 in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Rockcastle County. Nathan Pray threw for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 110 yards during the win.
The Commodores' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Devan Brewer contributed 145 yards. Tyler Fugate helped Perry County Central's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 19 yards.
John Toomer was the best wideout in the league this week as Perry County Central topped the Rockets. Toomer racked up 4 receptions for 57 yards. Fugate helped Perry County Central's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 19 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Justin Haddix's team's Pray and Fugate have proven to be a lethal combination. Pray has thrown for 449 yards this season, while Fugate, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 16 catches for 208 yards. Harlan County's Carson Whitehead leads the league in rushing yards with 600.
